Elena Kudryashova CV

Elena Kudryashova is Corresponding member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor. The main issues of her research are social and political philosophy, philosophy of education, gender research.
Professor Kudryashova is Head of the Department of Philosophy, Director of the Centre for Women Studies and Gender Research of the Pomor State University (Arkhangelsk, Russia). From March 1999 until the present she has been Vice-Director of the Department of Education and Research of the Administration of the Arkhangelsk Region. Professor Kudryashova is Member of the Barents Euro-Arctic Region BEAR working group on higher education and research.

Professor Kudryashova has carried out scientific research in the University of Oxford (UK), the George Washington University (USA); University of Oslo (Norway); The Kennan Institute (USA); and the NIKKо (Norway).

Elena Kudryashova has written more than 100 publications, among those a number of monographs: Leader and Leadership (1996); Social-Philosophic Analysis of Leadership (1996); Science and education in the Arkhangelsk region on the Border of the Centuries (2004); and Values of Leadership and Leadership of Values (2005).
