Dr. Michelle Selinger CV

Dr. Michelle Selinger is the education strategist for Corporate Citizenship at Cisco Systems, working mainly across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Her work involves research and dissemination of effective solutions for e-learning and providing strategic advice on ICT and education programmes and e-curricular development in developed and developing countries.
Michelle has a strong teaching background in both traditional and distance education and has worked at the Open University and latterly the University of Warwick where she was the Director of the Centre for New Technologies Research in Education.
Her personal research interests are in exploring effective pedagogies for ICT in education with a special interest in cultural factors. She has led a number of evaluation projects on technology enabled learning and has published widely on many aspects of ICT in education in academic and professional journals. She is a member of the second chamber of the eEurope 2005 Action Plan Advisory Group, sits on a number of EU steering groups and holds an honorary research fellowship at Royal Holloway University.
